Art is somewhat more  than a representational object

I am exploring the human experience and the impact on our environment. I switch between drawing the figure and experiencing the landscape. I long for spaces that help me connect with myself as a creature. I am drawn to places that are away from the life in the cities. I do find peace under trees and by the rivers and lakes. Places that are less contaminated with modern life. Places where nature speaks to me and humbles my existence because it just is. Simple places, simple times. The landscape and figure is where I connect. The form is a fragment perceived like an abstract. It is where I explore and learn.

I create to reflect. It is the process that I am interested in. The process and the circle of life.
